What's Next?

Welcome to "What's Next?"—a space for periodic reflections on climate resilience and adaptation, sustainability, and the public health connections that often get overlooked in adaptation work.

I'm Diane Mas, a water resources engineer and registered environmental health specialist/sanitarian working as Chief Resilience & Sustainability Officer at Fuss & O'Neill. My career has encompassed water quality modeling, watershed management, impact assessment, corporate sustainability, and climate resilience and adaptation, and I'm currently deepening my public health expertise through graduate studies at the University of Massachusetts Amherst School of Public Health and Health Sciences. I believe the most effective resilience work happens when we bridge disciplines—and this blog is where I explore those intersections. You can subscribe if you'd like to stay up to date and receive emails when new content is published. And check out my companion blog - Health in All Design - where I focus on understanding, quantifying, and promoting the health co-benefits of nature based solutions and climate adaptation design.
